This is Hodad's new location in downtown San Diego. WOW! What a burger!! The atmosphere is funky. You sit on tables shaped like surfboards, and a tattooed waiter will come and sit down at the table with you to take your order. The original Hodad's located in Ocean Beach, has been featured on the Food Network, and since we've tried that one, and loved it, we wanted to try this new location. We weren't disappointed!! Richard and Nancy started out with fringe's, a combination of French fry's and onion rings. One order is enough for four people! They are to die for! Then they both started out with their own custom made burgers. They came out perfect, and were so good, that Richard had to order another one.....imagine that!! And, Nancy was happy to see that they serve wine in a jar. It's your choice....white, red, or pink. The food is fantastic, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable. This is must for burger lover's!! Richard and Nancy give it 5 Stars and $ to $$
